I must confess that I failed to take notes on the Maudite. I think it was on a list of the top ten tripels in an article in the NYT and I had only been able to find five of them. I was trying to save the five so I could have a taste test when I got all ten together, but one night I ran out of beer and had to break into the reserve. I knew this would be easy to replace, so I opened it. Here is what I remember - I generally like Unibroue and this was no exception. I think it's lighter than La Fin du Monde and a little more fruity. I guess it's time to replace it and taste it again.
